Our farm is located in Perry, MI on 20 acres. We are about 25 minutes from MSU, 25 minutes from Owosso/Corunna, and 20 minutes from Sleepy Hollow State Park with easy access to I-69.
Amenities: Arenas, Round Pen, and Bridle Path
We have a total of 9 acres of pasture available to the horses. Attached to each pasture is a paddock or sacrifice area with access to shelter. We do our best to 'match up' horses according to temperament and maintain an maximum of 3 horses per ~2 acre pasture. Our fencing consists of a combination of monofilament and post-and-rail, with several 'hot' lines for additional safety.
We have a 110' x 220' fenced grass riding arena that is suitable for riding, lunging, or free lunging, and a 50' round pen. There is a set of dressage letters in the arena set up for a 65' x 130' ring (short court). Jumping material is also available.
A bridle path runs around the perimeter of the property. At a walk it takes around 10-15 minutes to complete. It is an ideal training tool for introducing young horses to trail riding, for cool-down, or just to enjoy a short hack on a nice day.
We are in the process of building an indoor arena, expected completion date November 2016!
